07 Dec 2020

This year, Orientation Day at Macquarie Fields High School was organised in a unique way due to Covid- 19 restrictions. With students enrolling at our school from numerous primary schools around Sydney it was decided to take an 'Orientation Road Show' to as many schools as possible. Our well-being team including our 2021 Year Advisor Ms Moore, and Assistant Year Advisor Ms Holden, visited a number local primary schools to deliver our 'O' packs and have short meet and greet with some of our students.
If our Orientation team was unable to make it to your child's school, an Orientation pack will be sent in the mail to your home address. The pack includes valuable information about the start of Year 7 at MFHS in 2021. This includes information regarding, transport, scripture and our handbook for new students and their families. We encourage our incoming Year 7 students to read through and familiarise themselves with the information provided.
A reminder to parents that Year 7 will have their first day on Friday 29th January 2021. This day will be a mini Orientation Day and only Year 7 student will be at school this day. School will start at 9:05am. Parents will not be allowed to attend and should arrange to drop off their child external to the school.
If you have any questions regarding any information for our incoming Year 7 students please contact:
