Macquarie Fields High School P&C contribution scheme, is a $20 per semester contribution per family paid via the school when collecting school fees. The scheme has been running for several years now, with great success.
Recently the P&C have contributed to the upgrade of gardens and the agricultural plot.
Over the years the Macquarie Fields High School P&C have funded;
- New chairs for assemblies, presentations
- First aid kits
- New tables for examinations
- Musical instruments
- Covered walkways
- Sentral software
- Refurbishment of the TLS room
- Student and staff carpark upgrade
- Library upgrades
- Outdoor shelter upgrades
- Classroom upgrades
The P&C is evolving and would like to do even more. We wish to leverage (increase) the funding provided by parents and carers through the contribution scheme. As a Registered Charity, we can apply for grants to further support Macquarie Fields High School and our community. Some grants are donations, some are contributions that are ‘matched’ in funding i.e. if we put in $1, we will receive a further $1, doubling our money.
