Year 7 Cataract Scout Park Excursion

On Friday 30 May, Year 7 will have an exciting opportunity to attend an adventure day at Cataract Scout Camp! This is a one-day version of the previous Year 7 Camp, that is more affordable and more exciting! You can access the permission note and payment details on School Bytes -your parents log in to the Parent Portal and provide permission and pay, the same way as the Swimming Carnival. We will be meeting at MFHS at 7am for roll call, before departing by coach. We will arrive at Cataract Scout Camp at 8.15am for an 8.30am start. We will return to MFHS no later than 5pm. Some important things to remember: • Wear FULL SPORTS UNIFORM and comfortable joggers for outdoor activities • Bring a ch,mge of clothes -you will get dirty! • If your hair is shoulder length or longer, the camp recommend tying it up for the day • Bring sunscreen and a wide-brimmed hat, or a Legionnaires hat if possible (with a neck cover) - do not wear your school cap, it is not enough • Bring recess, snacks and lunch - there are no facilities to purchase from • Bring plenty of water!!!! • If you have asthma - bring your Ventolin!! lf you have any other medical conditions - please bring your medication with you - in its original packaging. • All phones and wallets will stay in your bags when you are doing activities-potentially unsupervised-so only bring what you must.
