HSC Exams

Rows of individual desks and chairs set up in exam style

Year 12 Students attend the HSC exams as per their individual timetable.

For safety and security reasons, you must wear full school uniform to all examinations. Year 12 school jacket is acceptable.

If you intend to arrive very early for an examination, or leave well after the examination has finished, you are required to sign in at the front office. You must then sign out when you leave the premises. This again is for security purposes, and it is a departmental expectation of the Principal that the school maintain a secure and safe environment.

You should return your textbooks to the Library on the morning of each examination. This will speed up sign out procedures at the end of your HSC.

Remember to eat well and get plenty of rest during your examinations in order to maximise your potential for success at your examinations. Manage your time carefully to ensure that you have an appropriate emphasis on study, leisure and rest.

If you suffer illness or misadventure on the day of an examination, please inform the school by phone (9605 3111) and speak personally with Ms Buxton, Mr Perrett, or Ms Collins who will inform the supervisor of the examinations, Mr. McLeod.

You will be required to submit a NESA Illness/Misadventure form in detail with supporting documentation from your doctor as relevant to your circumstances. NESA Illness/Misadventure forms will be available from Ms Buxton (HT Administration) and Mr Perrett (Deputy Principal). This is a NESA process not a school process, however, we can assist with information and the forms need to be submitted by the school.
